I'm planning to get some new boots installed soon and the out-going tires have provided superb utility. They've worn evenly from new and they're W rated (270kph) Ultra High Performance (UHP) all season Hankook that were rated for ~ 70,000 kms. I think they have ~ 5/32" tread remaining. I checked the Official Motor Vehicle Inspection manual for Nova Scotia and the safe tread depth threshold is 2/32". I personally prefer UHP all seasons to gain better cool/cold weather traction in the Spring & Fall seasons. These tires were used for commuting and weekend drives. I've sold a few things here over the years and been fair and honest with everyone, so I can't imagine that'll change. These tires are sized 225/45R-17.

I also have some Y rated (300kph) [directional] Michelin Pilots with ~ 6/32" tread depth that are on 18" rims. If anyone needs them let me know. I'm pretty sure these are a summer compound tread and are an excellent wet weather high end tire. They are sized 225/40R-18 and are evenly worn.

These tires were rated for 70,000 kms and they're ~ 25% remaining tread or ~ 17,500 kms of life left in these tires. They passed safety recently and drove flawlessly during rain/wet roads recently. All tires are worn evenly; $160 for the set (4).

The Michelin Pilot Sport tires have ~ 50% tread remaining; however, they are a summer tread compound & I have no means to predict the remaining life of the tires to wear-out. They are a premium tire and superb in wet conditions and Very good in the dry. All tires are worn evenly; $360 for the set (4).
